bt gps problems

hi
i purchased a BT 77 GPS receiver from ebay a while ago and it was working fine with my 7610 and TTM 5.
But i didn't use the receiver for a while and when i came around to using it, it doesn't seem to connect with any satellite and the g ps light just remains steady rather than flashing!
I've tried charging the battery and leaving it out for a bout 20mins an dstill nothin!

Any tips?

try leaving it switched on for anything up to two hours with a clear view of the sky - i know this sounds excessive but give it a try, its lost the almanac data it needs to align, doing the two hrs should cure the problem, to avoid this happening again use it more regularly - mike
