Hi Guys,
I'm sure I'm not the only one having troubles!
I have a iPAQ h4350 (4150 with a hard keyboard) and a Haicom wired GPS (204e) and have just got my upgrade to TT5, to say I'm disappointed is an understatement!
I have 2 main problems, firstly almost every time my GPS loses signal for over 2 mins, the programme freezes and crashes my PDA I have to soft reset and start again at which point it has forgotten everything I told it about settings and routes, since it happens almost every time I use it I'm getting frustrated to say the least. I see it has been reported as a bug, but does anyone have any fixes or workarounds?
secondly, and how stoopid is this? when I plan a route, all the road names are too big to read properly, I know you can tap and hold to see them, but try doing this if you are looking for "High Street" since there are likely to be dozens of them listed, doing this on the move is impractical, I know you shouldn't try programming it on the move for fear of crashing, but sometimes its unavoidable when problem 1 occurs on a motorway, say! Is there a way of reducing the text size?
and a question digitools postcodes seems to work still, has anyone had any success with it for any legnth of time.
Sorry if I'm repeating earlier questions, but I'm new to TT5 (having happily used TT2 and 3 - is it only me that thinks TT2 was the most user friendly?) and the sheer amount of posts is somewhat daunting!
Thanks for your time chaps! |
