I purchased 'Sylvia' yesterday off the Tom Tom site, I received an email confirming my purchase but no voice... where do I get it from ? I assumed they would send me the files or let me download them . All I got was instructions on how to install it... Can anybody help? I have emailed them but as yet no response. |

Did you get an email from TT with a "(click here for installation instructions)" message?
That should take you to the TT site where you should see an arrow pointing to the word download.
If you click on that, it should open the download screen asking you whether you want to run or save the file. If you save it, you will have a zip file which you can then open at your leisure.
Hope this helps.[/b][/u] _________________ TT700 - Memory Map 2004 - NavMan iPaq |

There is no download link there, It says "you can download the following voices" but then nothing . I think it may have crashed when it was sent because there are two errors on the page:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /server/www/htdocs/cens/spm/presentation/voice/listOwnedVoices.php on line 117
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /server/www/htdocs/cens/spm/presentation/voice/listOwnedVoices.php on line 154
It must be them, I'll just will have to wait for their response, thanks anyway. |

Hmm, it does sound like the email they sent was corrupted in some way. It might be an idea to forward the whole mail back to TT so they can see the error message as you recieved it.
Best of luck

Hi, thanks for your help, but I have tried that, all it says under voices is "Voices", "No Voices" and "Get voices" and none of these link to the voice I bought. Whats more I have emailed Tom Tom 3 times now and have only received an automated response so I am a bit peeved to say the least, and I'm getting a bit bored with Tim and Jane !!! |
