Hi all, am trying to install TT3 upgrade on a new PDA of mine - selling the old PDA in the "for sale section"
It needs activating but I get this from ttcode:
"code here" is a correct product code for TomTom Navigator Great Britain.
This product can no longer be activated.
What shoud I do?
many thanks.

Hi Jack,
Have you used the TTNav 3 product code to upgrade to TTNav 5?
How many devices have you used the TTNav 3 product code on, and when did you last use that product code?

Hi Jack,
Unfortunately as soon as you have used the product code to upgrade, TomTom consider the old product code to be superseded by the new product code that you will receive in the upgrade box.
Once a TomTom product code has been superseded by a new product code, the old one can no longer be used to install the product (to which it refers to) onto a new PocketPC.

If you don't ask, you won't get ... however I suspect that TomTom will not reactivate your original product code for TTNav 3.

do you have a backup of data from when it was loaded and working - if so just re-install the backup and you will be away - mike |
