The GO seems to work OK in other Ford cars with the fine wires embedded in the screen. Does the Discovery have the same type?
The problem ones seem to be the coated windscreens that reflect heat. Mostly French. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)

Hi Strech,
I've had a classic and a 700 Go in my 2004 Discovery. I found that I could get a fairly good signal through the heated screen, but it did drop off regularly, and always at the wrong time! I cured this by fitting an external arieal kit. Ran it accross the dash, under the door seals and onto the shelf under the rear side window. Works a treat! |
