TT5 Map view navigation

Long time lurker first time poster..... :D

Having just installed TT5(MIO 168 pocket pc version) I cannot get the scrolling GPS function to work as it did in TT3

In TT3 you could select the map view and once a GPS fix was made the blue arrow would always show your position as you moved around - the map would scroll as you moved - essentially allowing real time navigation without pre planning a route, I found this option invaluable when navigating roads that you were reasonably familar with.

Therefore my question is does TT5 allow this if so how ??

This feature is gone in TT5. You can of course just drive around without a route planned and Navigator view will show you where you're going. One of my two main reasons for doing it in TT3 - to see road names on the map - is now solved in TT5 as Navigator view shows road names. (The other main reason, to have a North up map rather than Direction up map, isn't.) So I don't miss it personally.
