Altering voice .Ogg messages?

Is there a resolution to the lack of availabilty to alter the voice messeages in TTN5?

I have played around with some of the .chk files (with a quick & dirty VB proggy to play the .ogg's) but cannot find anywhere that is discussing the subject?

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Would it be worth the effort to alter the TTN5.1 file for the iPAQ 2210; to allow 30 warning voices rather than the 15 avaiable?

I'm pretty sure with a bit of effort it could be achieved (and may try it for a bit of fun).
