I've just received my TT5 upgrade, and have to admit I'm a bit nervous about installing it.

But my main question is that I have a Mio168 with a Kingston 256mb SD card. Would there be any benifit in getting a larger SD card (512mb or 1GB) before installing TT5 ?

Cheers

Baz

It depends how much other stuff you have stored on the card for other applications and which maps you are intending to install.

Eg. I have installed the GB Plus maps (approx 200MB) and the France map (approx 250 MB) and I need space for a variety of other applications and backups so I went for a 1GB card to give me the expansion space I need.

They are currently selling a Kingston 1GB SD card on ebuyer.com for £41.99 with free delivery, so it shouldn't break the bank either.

I already had a 1gb CF card so copied the 128mb card to that. Works fine. The sd card had a tendancy to come out of the PDA and having two cards seemed to use a ;ot more power.
