Medion pna 100 -use on a bicycle

Recently bought this and am absolutely delighted with it,no more arguing with my wife ,but when I use it on the bicycle it shuts down after about 3 minutes and I have to switch it back on.
Is this a normal proceedure to save on battery power or can I change the settings to keep it on longer?
I have searched the help cd and asked in Halfords( they thought there was a way but couldn't find it) but no luck so far.

o.k. I have found it-if anyone else needs to know.
Click on the start /settings/system(in grey box)/power control/advanced(in grey box)
if On battery power: is checked uncheck it.
