SD card backup advice

Sounds too simple, but here goes. Backup your SD card to a writeable DVD, 4.5 gigs of space... plenty of space for the card and the update files, and even any voice addons and POI files you may have. This way you are protected even in the event of a computer crash and an SD card corruption. I just went through a miserable time with a corrupt file, and will never make that mistake again.
