Hi All,
Got the HPrz1710 Navigator 3 which I have just upgraded to TTN5(which I think is great!)
Also purchased a 1GB SD card to store the maps and program on. I use a shortcut on the PDA to launch the program from the SD card....coz the HP1710 has naff all memory!
All well and good..works great...
Just one minor detail.
Every now and again, when I launch TTN5, it comes up with the green screen informing me it is my responsibility to keep both hands on the wheel...etc.etc... then I have to click "I Agree" then it asks me which map to select and works fine after that!
It doesn't happen everytime i launch the program but it drives me mad!
Anyone had this happen to them and more importantly, anyone got any fixes for it??!!!!
Cheers. |

It is because of the time it is taking TomTom to read the SD Card and load the software. The only answer is to either use a faster SD Card or install TomTom to the PDA and just leave the maps on the SD Card. _________________ Graham.

Thanks for the reply but there is a good reason why I put the program on the SD card.
I want to use full postcode search but the file is 8MB.
If I put the file on the Ipaq, I have no memory to run the program..critically low..and the file directory (called ZIP)has to be in my documents.
I tried putting the postcode file on the SD card and running TTN5 from the ipaq but it then doesn't allow me to use full postcode search..I can't win!
So, does anyone have a workaround to run TTN5 from the ipaq but having the postcode file on the SD card and being able to recognise it and use it.
All my troubles would then be over!! |

Yes, Create an empty folder on the SD card called "TomTom" and it will mysteriously work _________________ Garmin Edge 800 (cycling)
