What network are you on ?

On your Ipaq you need to set up a new connection using the settings you will get from your network provider.

If its O2 I have them if needed.

Thanks

I have set up a free dial up account and set up the ipaq with dialup networking via the nokia.

All seems to work now,

One question, though, how long should you be connectewd to pick up traffic information?

With GPRS you are only paying for when you actually download data so you can leave the connection on the whole time. I update about every 8 minutes and on a fullup date traffic downloaded about 45kbs of data.

As far as I am aware you can still get calls whilst receiving data via GPRS.

Whilst conneted via GPRS your phone will not show as being engaged whether you are receiving data or not.
