Maps Not Found

I am trying to put my ttmobile 5 and gb maps on a larger mem card.

I have copied the map files and dir exectly to the root dir.
When tt loads it displays 'Maps not found'

Has anyone else found a fix for this?

use a card reader to transfer the entire contents of the tom tom card to your pc

then transfer from the pc using card reader to the new card

i have done this many times with no problems

you should keep a copy of the original tom tom files on your pc as a back up for when the card goes dodgy then you can just restore the original

also make sure you have all files & folders viewable, there is some hidden stuff on ttm5 memroy card
