i have just bought a tom-tom navigator 2 and a toshiba pda, but i cannot get a fix on g.p.s

what am i doing wrong

Have you plugged the accessory plug into the car accessory socket ?

Are you on road or off road. You need to be near a road.

Check that the correct GPS receiver is selected on the GPS properties/GPS screen.
