TT5 Device code for Tom Tom Plus services (maps)

I tried to download a map of San Francisco from my PDA and it tells me I need to be TomTom Plus services ready and I need to visit the website.
Whe I go onto the Tom Tom wehbsite it tells me I need to register for Tom Tom Plus services, free trial, before I can do this.
When I try to do this it asks for a Device Code and the link that tells me what this actually is doesn't work....
Where can I find the Device Code?
Can anyone help me please?

Is there not a small link on the web page next to the place you put your device code in that tells you how to find it? If not I think you will find it on Navigator on the last page of the options under "Version info" or something like that.

No the link does not work.
I have tried the version number of my PDA but it isn't that.
I just need to know which number I need to put in.
Can anyone help?
