going to france on thurs... trying to get hold of a copy of france map...anybody know of newhere i can download it from for free??

TomTom GO maps must be paid for. If you don't wish to pay then go without.

Alternatively paper maps of France are available at a reasonable cost.

This is the wrong place to ask, you can buy them like everyone else from TotalPDA who have stock of France on SD.
