performance improvements using TomTom 3 on Dell PDA

Hi Guys

I'm currently using a 300mhz AXIM X5 with tomtom via a CF GPS card.
Who I get an improved mapping speed if I upgraded to a AXIM 50 running @ 520 MHz 64MB SDRAM.

Also any inprovment is I move up one to 480 x 640 screen

moving up to a 480x640 screen will actually slow you down somewhat since it will have to draw four times the amount of map data.

Anyhow, map update on TTN3 is only once per second. Processor speed does not have much influence there.
