battery help

Hi I have just puchased a mio copilot 168 and I noticed that the battery was inside and I was wondering if you could change the battery yourself or if you had to send it away I would rather go myself than send it away
dose anybody know where I could take it to .I live in birmingham UK

Why do you need to change the battery?

hmm you cannot replace the battery without opening up the unit and invalidating your warranty. Mitac are based in Belgium so it would have to be sent back to where you purchased the unit then back to Belgium.
