TT V5 - Traffic service seems to have changed...

I must admit I've not been happy with the traffic service since upgrading, as it appears not to be working. With TT V3 it would take a reasonable amount of time to download inccidents, but with V5 it takes less than 3-4 seconds.

BUT.... it could be working, V5 it appears to download just the locations of all incidents, but no detail.

When you browse the traffic map the only inccidents that are shown are accidents (ie icons), small dots indicate slow moving traffic. It is only when you zoom in that both accidents & slow moving traffic icons are displayed. Clicking on the relevent icon then downloads the detailed trafic information for just that specific location.

So what does this mean, if this is the way traffic is now working it will mean quicker downloads, and reduced data volumes which will reduce the GPRS usage cost for users.
