TomTom Navigator 5 on XDA2

Anyone got the Warning alerts working on TTN5 on the XDA2? I realize this may already have been covered. I have tried copying the data.chk file as stated into the root of the memory card (5.00 version as per program version). Also into the tomtom folder on card. still beeps, boings and alarms. No speech. Any help is appreciated in this matter.

I have tried this now 3 or 4 times. Still the original beeps etc. On the memory card there are only about 7 folders. No program Files folder. the only "data.chk" file i can find anywhere is the one in the tomtom folder. Changing this for the downloaded one has absolutely no efect at all.

Guess i'm just stuck with the default noises.
