HP3765 + Navman 3450 SE + tom tom 5

I've used this sleeve/ipaq combination for some time now, with both SmartST and TomTom 2, without any (real) problems.

upgrading to TomTom 5 however, got me in real trouble - after a lot of trial and error, I did a hard reset, installed SmartST with all the patches and this seems to be working ok.

TomTom 5 is the problem here:

"no GPS available"
"no valid GPS signal"

when I do the [configure] I get:
