More TT5 upgrade woes

After deciding to take the tough route and doing a hard reset I successfully upgraded to TT5. All works fine but for one nasty bug and one wierd synchronisation error (Maybe not palm related).

The bug is that when I synchronise with Outlook, I get a Contacts Navigator list. This is great and I can navigate to any address on it. However, I se a Palm T3 and when I navigate to an addres there is no way I can get rid of the grafiti area so I cannot use the navigator in wide mode. Any proposed solution?

Directly realted to this is that when I synchronised for teh first time I lost Navigator out of the list of applications so that I can not assign a button to navigator. This is a minor pain but a real invoncvenience as I always just pressed the button when I jumped into the car. Any way round this?

Now the synch problem: I get the following message every time I do a hotsync:

Unable to create handheld database. SyncCreateDB returned 4019.
HotSync Exchange synchronization failed

Protocol Error: The requested command is not supported (4019)

Any ideas what this is?

Many thanks for help. I must say TT% looks like it is a nice wee step up but as usual Tomtom have not got their quality up to scratch before release.

Solved part of it. Found the old update for the T3 that Tomtom released a year ago. Reapplying this solves the problem of the typing area not being removable. They could not even bother to include it in their new release. Woe is me!
