Anyone know how to get an mpx220 and an ipaq 2210 to link up over bluetooth to use the mpx220 as a modem and hence get all that tom tom plus stuff working. Can get it to work over irda but not much use if i'm driving.
thanks in advance |

That's very convoluted. Why not use TomTom Mobile on the MPX220 ? _________________ Lutz

That would be the sensible option but unfortunately I'm committed to tom tom nav and have just upgraded to TTN5. I know I should have gone for the mobile version but I like the bigger screen of the ipaq that I bought back with TTN2. Also the mpx220 is a clamshell so not ideal for a car mount. Still might have to reconsider my preferences unless anyone can help me get the bluetooth modem working. |

I have tried that but for some reason the mpx 220 won't work, the connection drops between the 2 gadgets. I was just hoping someone with the same equipment had got it to work because it has become very frustrating.
Thanks anyway |
