I have downloaded a POi icon onto my desktop computer that is connected to my pocket pc with active sync, I am using tomtom3, where do I save the icon on the pocket so that I can use it.

Hi John,
You need to save it in the same folder as the POI .ov2 file.

they go in the map folder, great_britain-map, presumebly on your SD card _________________ SW

Ok found the folder on the SD card, I draged and droped mine and it stayed as a coral, looking at the other files it seems that they are POI binary, I think somewhere I need to convert it but where.

Most Icon's are in .bmp format, what poi file do you wish to associate it with, just rename it to the same name as the poi file.
e.g. abc.ov2 then the icon should be abc.bmp |

If as it seems you created your Icon file in Coral Draw, you need to save the file as a .bmp file if Coral is able to save in that format. If not you will need to use some other application such as Paint. _________________ Graham.
