Hi.
Is it possible to record a journey on my iCN510? I would like to pass on my route to work to someone else, I have found the screen which states ‘Track Recording’ but the unit instructions mention ‘data logging’.
Excuse the ignorance but what is track recording and data logging? Is there a program which can track and record a journey if the ‘Track Recording’ doesn’t

In this instance they mean the same thing. Your position will be 'logged' every second and the recording is saved. Unfortunately you can't play the recording back on your iCN, but you can look at it on, say, Autoroute and see where you've been, and at what speed, etc.
I have used the function in the past to track my position on a road which doesn't exist on the map. I can then send that logfile to Navman. _________________ Tim

Thank you for your reply, my route is back roads/motorway/back roads, I have tried many combinations of preferences but no sensible combinations seem to work. It also tries to send me down no through roads, but ignores a private road network which saves a lot of time.
