Absolutely NOT, Look up Research in your english dictionary Laughing
There are quite a few POI's you can add, and an update for the smart.

The iCN510 is purely a GPS and route organising tool designed to be used on roads. Nothing else.

For MP3 playing, you'll need an iPod or similar.

Depending on where you come from and which language you speak, you really need to download or print out the manual.
If it is an American version of the 510 you are using, have you installed the maps you require from the cd's supplied onto an SD Card.

You Really should have asked a few questions before you bought it, then you would have known.
The GPS and route organising tool....? did they give you that unit or did you actually buy it. Your installation disc has a PDF manual. If you are having trouble with your english, ask someone to translate it for you.
You have bought a Navman ICN510 which is at it's price a very good GPS system, but it stops there, its nothing else. (apart from safety cameras and POI's of various self chosen shops/garages etc)
As for Tom Tom, The word brick comes to mind. Wink
