HELP 5.1 upgrade.....completely screwed up

Tried to upgrade my 300 to 5.1 has all gone wrong. The GO will not even turn on properly now, I get a the tom tom sound with the two red hands then it changes to a grey picture of the tom tom with a red and white background. If I connect it to the PC it doesn't see the tom tom. Help any ideas please?[/b]

hopefully you have made a backup of your storage card. If not, try to save the maps away.

Then reformat the storage card, and re-install the program. Then copy the maps back.

working again, fingers crossed. Seems the upgrade would not install on the SD card because it was full. (a bit of a surprise since I hadn''t installed any extras and had only about 35-40 saved personal poi's.) Anyway viewed properties of the SD card and not bit or a byte of space left. I uninstalled my user poi's and deleted all voice related files, this freed up enough space for the installation to complete. So that got me back working less poi's and voices.

Today bought a 512 SD card, installed the backup of original SD card, so got everyithng back, then applied the upgrade to the new card. So all now working in 5.10 with all voices and personal poi's.
