Hi Guys,

If anyone has any idea what might be the problem I would be most grateful for the assistance.

I have just purchased the upgrade to Navigator 5. I currently have version 3. I checked my version 3 was working as normal (all ok), then I did the following :-

1. Went to my SD card and deleted the contents.
2. Ran the installation CD (CD1) and selected the GB map.
3. It installed that ok and installed the post code tool too.
4. Installation had finished so I quit
5. Tapped on TomTom Navigator on my PDA

I get the message "No Maps Found, please install and activate an Original
TomTom Navigator 3 map first".

Version 3 was working perfectly on my PDA before the upgrade.

Anyone any ideas???

Thanks

Andrew

You have installed the new map, but haven;t yet installed TTN5 - you are stil running TTN3 (which of course can't easily work with teh v5 maps)

Lutz,

Thanks so much for that. That certainly solved the problem. Laughing Out Loud

I have a Mitac Mio 168. It looks like GPS is configured in the TomTom application itself this time. Obviously, the GPS receiver is built in to my device, so I am not sure what settings to pick.

I used to use one of the 4800 baud NMEA ones on SP2 but it doesn't have that option in this. Any ideas what I should pick?

Thanks
