Holux GR230 - TTN3 - iPAQ 2210 Position Lags

I often have a problem with the position shown being several hundred yards behind where I actually am. When I come to a halt the TomTom still shows me moving and eventually catches up until I drive away again.

Holux changed the GR230 with a recon one but problem remains. Sometimes it will work but not often. Satelite signal strength seems pretty good & not related to problem.

Any idea's?
