Globalsat SD-501 in a Toshiba e805

Somebody else may already have posted this information but just in case here it is.

The Toshiba e805 with built-in WiFi is supposed to be SDIO Now enabled but it is not so the SD-501 will not work in it without some additinal drivers loaded.
First the 4bit driver and comkiller need to be loaded (comkiller is only loaded to be able to see what port the SD-501 is installed on, generally com4)
Next the Toshiba bluetooth driver need to be loaded and a soft reset needs to be done with the SD-501 installed in the PDA.
After all of that the SD-501 works great with MS PocketStreets 2005
The SD-501 can happily co-exist with a Compact Flash GPS unit without any interference to either unit's software.
I have a Holux GPS Ultra CF unit that I use in either the Toshiba or my laptop.
