I am right in reading that there are no european maps provided with the TTN 5 as i have just brought it as I thought there was as I am going to france does anyone know if tomtom will make them available to users. As it seems unfair that you can get them on tomtom upgrade but not on the full version as it costs a fortune!!! |

Yes, you are right. Even the Major Roads are not included. |

I was just about to post the exact same question. I am also off to France and am looking to purchase TT5 but this sort of sales practice doesn't make sense. I actually read somewhere on these forums that the upgrade is actually free to TT3 users...and you are actually paying for another SD card with the new maps on!!
So looks like I will have to either buy TT3 + Upgrade or TT5 + Upgrade, surely this can't be right. 8O |
