Maybe this could be the start of a questions relating to V5:-
1. How do you change the saftey screen speed, ie the speed at which the saftey screen is displayed?
2. Is it possible and if so how do you switch of the '+' & '-' zoom icon on the map screen. A little pointless been as you can use the PDA buttons to zoom in and out.
3. Assign the 3d/2d display to a button, ie provide a button to switch between modes. |

Ah forgot to ask..
4. What does the little circular icon in the top right hand corner indicate, and what does the different colour mean. When I receive traffic info its shows green, but then shows amber |

The following link is to the manual for TTN5, it should answer your questions:-
Here

POI Warner and any other third party software will not work at present with TTN5. We will have to wait for the SDK from TT to be released for TTN 5. _________________ Mio P550 Mio 3 TTN 6 2GB SD Card, Ipaq 5450: Integral 1Gb SD card, TTN 6, POICapture, PPC 2003 |

IIRC the round icon represents how up-to-date the traffic info is. |

Safety screen speed is done by configuring map display. You get three options - map shown, map hidden or map hidden above a certain speed. The latter is the equivalent of the safety screen speed in Navigator 3 (and yes, it took me a while to find it!).
Hiding the + and -, and your question about 2D / 3D switching shows you're thinking in the Navigator 3 mould. You can't configure as many elements of the screen in Navigator 5, nor can you use hardware buttons. The D pad allows you to control zooming and volume.
The icon at the top right is indeed to do with Traffic.
There is no support for applications using the existing TomTom Navigator SDK in Navigator 5. I believe a Navigator 5 SDK is planned for the future.

You don't need it, TT5 has it's own inbuilt functions which do the same thing. |
