Has anyone tried running the Delorme 2004 SA hh with their hp bt gps?

I am running ppc2003 on my 5455. I can establish the bluetooth connection no problem. The problem comes in the Delorme soft. not seeing gps info. I have been reading through the archives but I haven't found anything that works.

After establishing the bluetooth connection I open the sa hh software, click on 'GPS' then on 'Settings'. This is where I'm a bit lost.

Next to 'Device' I think I need to choose NMEA 0183 or NMEA 0183(57600)

Next to 'Comport' I have the following choices,
Com1 Serial
Com3 IRcom
Com5 Serial5
Com6 CIRserial
Com8 Serial8
Com9 USB
I have tried every one of these with no luck. Shouldn't I see something listed as BT or bluetooth?

After exiting out this screen if I click on 'GPS' again and then click 'Connect' I get the error msg. BTTrayCE
No Bluetooth serial ports
could be found for device
BT-GPS-00A205

Any help would be most appreciated.
Thanks,

You're moving a bit too fast.

First you need to use the BT Manager to discover and connect to the serial port profile (SPP) service of the receiver.

Then you will want to verify in the BT settings what the Outgoing COM port is (either COM5 or COM8) - that's the port you will need to use.

Finally, 57600 is not a standard speed. Try using 38400 first.

Ok, sorry, I'm a bit frustrated at this point.

I did use the BT Manager to discover and connect.

Inbound is Com 5
Outbound is Com 8

Change to 38400...got it
