Urgent help needed some help please on navman 510

I have been having this problem since i got my navman and was wondering if anyone have the same problem as me....and what i can do to solve it...

My navman fails to boot up ...black screen Sad

... I have tried the reset button on the top and still nothing....switched the battery switch at on and off and pressed the reset button and still nothing.... I have managed to reboot it in the past via switching the battery switch on and off and pressing the reset button after lots of attempts but now it's died on me again..... Sad

BTW if i press the down arrow and switch on it powers the navman on but than still a blank screen...

someone please help....

..I think the technical term is knackered, if its under warranty, take it back.

An old post I know but a friend had this problem and I found it to simply be the brightness was on minimum (which is a blank screen). Just press and hold the + button for a few seconds and it will toggle into brightness mode and increase the screen brightness.
