Sorry, no. With the 6xx range you are stuck with the 'chime'. _________________ Tim |

I could have sold you a pup! A 6xx user has changed his default.wav warning. Read here for details.
As to adjusting your warning, this can be done when installing the Custom POIs from the Navman Desktop. On the PPC it can also be done from the device but as I don't have a 600 with V3 on it I can't tell you how to do it from the device, although it should be possible. _________________ Tim |

|
|
Please follow these instructions and you will be able to change the distance for your alert (I have an ICN610 with V3)
From the Main Menu, select 'Setting' then OK, Select 'Alerts' then OK, Select 'Active POI' then OK, Select your Safteycam POI i.e SpeedCam then OK (works with any POI), press the down key 3 times to the 'Distance to POI (ft) and then increase the Distance to POI with the right arrow key. When done press the ESC key.
A warning will be displayed asking if you wish to save the settings, select option required (default is YES), then press OK, now press ESC key twice to take you back to the main menu. Hope this helps. |
