Trying not to just buy the upgrade and wait for the new BT reciever to come out but does anyone know when this is likely? (and anywhere cheaper than the 200 quid that most places have it up as?)

Hi Alank,
If you already have either TTNav 2 or TTNav 3, why not buy the upgrade and buy a GlobalSat BT 338?
I don't have a GlobalSat BT 338, but I know several people who do and by all accounts it is an excellent receiver.
Regards,
Bo Peep. _________________ TomTom 730

Hi,
I've ordered my TTN5 today from real live stock at Global Positioning Systems (£199) and it will be here on Monday! Hurrah!
Froogle has a list of suppliers for TTN5 and I've seen it priced at £182 inc VAT, but not sure on the stock situation there.
Does anyone know if the the pack includes major roads for Europe? I've had conflicitng info from suppliers.

Because I can take back the TT3 pack I have as the Ipaq has a few problems as it is and it was part of a bundle.
Going to cost me about 30/40 quid more than it would if I was just to upgrade but I undertstant the new BT receiver should be worth that! |

I have complained to TomTom that you cannot upgrade and buy the GPS receiver seperately and there response was that this option wasn't available.
Because of the waiting times of the upgrade I have decided to order the full version as I wanted the new GPS receiver.
I think it is pretty poor of TomTom not to give its exisiting customers this upgrade path.
Anybody want to buy TTN3 and a GPS BT? Going cheap |
