| Having just got my tom tom go 300 and downloaded and installed the 5.100 sucessfully I still cant get the full 7 digit postcodes. Just to check, do i have to register for my free plus month and download the new maps to get them or should the 7 digit postcode search be enabled as standard and im doing something wrong? |

I have Tomtom Go 300 and as far as i can tell you can use first five digits of postcode which is more than enough to get to any address you need to get too.
In saying that it does seem weird that you cant type in seven digits.
Yes you do need to register to use the Plus trial, as for the new maps i dont think getting new ones will make any difference to postcode entry, and from what i hear it is not worh forking out for the new maps as there is very little difference to the one supplied with TTG 300.

Sorry for last post you can enter 7 DIGIT Postcode. Here is what you do.
Tap Navigate to which will take you to Nav To........ from there tap arrow pointing to the right (at bottom of screen) this will take you to another menu then just tap POSTCODE and hey presto enter you 7 digit postcode.
