What is bundled with HI303E?

I've just ordered a HI303E (from Handtec), and wondered what, if any, software will come with it?

If nothing is bundled, any advice on a simple location readout utility (anything free available?). I don't need maps or routing, I have a paper InfoMap for Namibia which includes GPS co-ords of major junctions, so just need to know where I am!

I have a Dell Axim X5 (Intel Xscale; Pocket PC 2002 Prem).

Also, can the HI303E draw its power from the PocketPC? I'll be powering the Axim from the cig lighter of the hire car and would prefer not to power the GPS separately.
