TomTom Car Kit for HP iPAQ 1940 Navigator GPS Systems-
Very Quick Question-
Does the official Tom Tom Car Kit holder rotate to view the screen in landscape view?
Thanks

Please respond to this topic, I have contacted dealers with no reply.
I have also read that these units affect the Bluetooth connection to the GPS Unit?

David,
i have a tomtom car kit for my HX4700 ipaq and i guess it's pretty much the same as the kit for a 1940.
If you use the suction mount that sticks to the windscreen then it is possible to use it in landscape mode. You just adjust the bendy arm or stick the whole thing so the cradle is sideways. does that make sense.
I've not tried the vent mount so i cant comment if it's possible to use that sideways.

Not sure why a car mounting kit would affect the bluetooth!
I've had no problems.
There are issues with modern heated windscreens and bluetooth reception though.
