Hello!
In the Bluetooth connection wizard (Explore a bluetooth device) all I get as a pop-up window is:
"The device does not offer any usable services. Please enable any desired services on that device or choose another one!"
In the GPS section of the Tomtom3 program I have put NMEA 0138v2 Bluetooth and Bluetooth Serial port COM8:
What am I doing wrong here? |

Hi Per,
to the forum!
I’d delete the pairing of the Clip-On, in the 2210, in the Bluetooth manager and start again.
Do a soft reset of the 2210 (to ensure that no other programs are running. Switch on the Clip-On (preferably in a location with a clear view of the sky) and use Bluetooth manager to pair the Clip-On with the 2210.
Don't forget that the passkey is 0000.
Your TTNav GPS settings are OK, I have a 2210 and Clip-On and use:
NMEA 0183v2 38400
Bluetooth serial Port COM8
Finally it’s best to use a CF storage card with your set-up, as 2210s and Bluetooth GPS receivers can have a problem with data on SD cards.

Thanks for the quick respons and the warm welcome. :D
There was nothing to delete in the pairing 'menu'. Now I've tried everything, pairing and conecting through the wizard. I'm getting to the point just after I have to type the passkey. After that the same text comes up ..."The device does not offer any usable services. Please enable any desired services on that device or choose another one!" [i]
I don't know what to do! |

Hmm, that’s weird!
Try removing the battery from the Clip-On for ten minutes or so. Then replace the battery and ensure that the Clip-On is fully charged.
Are you able to connect your 2210 to any other Bluetooth device?

I found out the problem.
I took it to a store and we compared my H2210 with another one and tried to access the GPS unit. The other had no problem at all while mine couldn't get access. The bluetooth was broken....
Got to get a new one. |
