Update query again...

I have the Tom Tom Navigator 3 on a ipaq 2110. The maps are installed on a SD card which I bought.

Tom Tom have sent through the new SD card with the update and with product code however when I put in the SD card it comes up with the following message

"No Maps found, please install and activate an orginal Tom Tom Navigator 3 map first"

Can anyone help with what I need to do, I can't get the device code as when I put in the SD card it just gives me the above message

Any help would be appreciated

if you have ttn3 why (and how) did you get a go update?

TTN3 won't work with the new maps - you will need ttn5 for them to see the new maps hence the "error" message.

If you originally purchased the combined pack of tomtom and ipaq nav pack then you may have tomtom 2004 (or tomtom nav 4) - but upgrades for these products aren't available yet.

Thanks for the info, it looks like its for the Tom Tom Go, anyway I'll have to wait for the upgrade from 3 to 5 as stated on their website... May 2005 for the upgrade ??
