SPV E200 not recognising SD card

Hi

I have acquired a second hand copy of TT Mobile sadly without matching GPS, so have also a bluetooth BT GPS, and an SPV e200. I know it can be tricky setting up on the e200.

So I had another go, and deleted TTM from the SD card (using Active Synch 3.7.1), and reinstalled it. So far so good.

But the telephone doesn't acknowledge the presence of TTM on the telephone. I expected to go to Start/Other/Other/TomTom, but it isn't there. I have tried rebooting; with and without the SD card. I've even tried putting in the original 32k card that came with teh phone with some video application. Whilst I can see the applications when using Active Synch, the phone itself doesn't come up with the rotating wheel icon when restarted after installation.

Please help! TIA.

The storage card needs to have a "2577" folder (with content) for the autoinstall to work. If you don't have that then you will need to add the program shortcut yourself. Somewhere on the phone is a file manager that allows yo to do that.

Thanks very much. 2577 is there, complete with 120k file 'autoinstall'. Anyway, i just made a shortcut & dropped it into \Storage\windows\Start Menu\
