Tom Tom GPS Moniter not connecting ?

Hi can anyone suggest something to try.

Have had Tom Tom working with this set up before, howver after it went away for minor repair and had to reinstall everything I am having difficulty getting the Tom Tom GPS Monitor to work.

I have an XDA2 with a power pack (CF slot)
Into the CF slot I iinsert a SysOnChip GPS Plus 2

Now I can pick up sats using an app called Leadtek GPS Monitor 1.0 using port com0 I get good reception and lock on to 3 or 4 sats near the window of my house. Outside is up to 7 or 8

BUT when I load up Tom Tom the GPS Monitor won't egt started.

i.e. although the light on the CF card is lit, indicating port is set correctly, nothing happens with TT GPS Monitor screen. I used to see activity between the sat icon and the pda icon in the status screen, but now nothing happens.

Is there something I have forgotten to do ?

or is there anyway to get TT3 to use the Leadtek GPS Monitor instead of the Tom Tom one ?
