I would like to use the Silver Shield car charger amplified mount with the LOOX 420.
The Loox is not specified under the compatible PDA's but all I need is for the plug to fit and thus charge the Loox. I do not need the GPS connection as this is handled already by bluetooth.
Is the connection plug on the Loox similar to any more well known PDA's so I can order for that or has the Loox got a totally non-standard connector.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Regards

Thanks but it only has a combined sync and power supply connector at the bottom centre so it must be different to the Loox 610.
Still looking to use the Silver Shield mount and need to know if the Loox 420 connector is the same as a more well known PDA. |

That was quite helpful thanks.
What that means is that since the Silver Shield mounting that I was considering has a fixed connector, similar to a desk cradle, then the 420 won't fit unless its placed on the mount back to front. Not a lot of use!!
I suppose it may be possible to dismantle the Silver Shield mount and just reverse the connector?
The wiring diagram is quite useful but I think it might be quite difficult to rewire due to the extremely small size of the connector pins.
Do you Know whether the Loox 400/600 connector is only used by Fujitsu-Siemens or is it usedby other PDA's? |

That one's beyond me I'm afraid.
You could always have a look around to see what the pinouts are for other PDAs.
However, I've never seen a connector like it. |
