In this weeks Auto Express they have tested 11 portable satnav units and decided the best buy is the Navman iCN510. Commended were Garmin Street Pilt 2620 and Magellan Roadmate 700. Tomtom Go was not mentioned.
I was going to buy a new TT GO but now I am not sure. Does everyone agree with the result of this test or should Auto Express stick to testing cars?
well the june edition of what laptop has a GPS-roadtest as well. it also has no mention of the GO, only the hp system. hence only PDA based units.
i would certainly would be looking at the GARMIN C320/330 myself if i were to be looking for a unit like the GO. it of course has NAVTEQ maps on board so should be more accurate. i wonder if the Pocket GPS team will be reviewing one soon?
the Street Pilot 2620 i would of though is pretty much old hat now? _________________ Ipaq 3970, Ipaq 2210 X2, Smart ST V1, Tomtom V3+V5, CoPilot V5, AA Navigator, Tomtom Bluetooth GPS, Navman 3450i Jacket, Navman Bluetooth GPS, Holux GM270, Fortuna GPS-PocketXtrack
