toshiba e740 freezes

Hi

i have the Toshiba E740 its the model without bluetooth built in so i have to use a belkin pda bluetooth compact flash model no: f8t006, i find that no matter what i have tried i still get freezes after about 20 mins and have to come out of the tom tom program and then reload it all works again but so annoying and dangerous when driving. and it allways cuts out at junction you dont know or worse. i have tried about 4 sd memory cards as that seem to be a issued at one time all makes of cards still report same problems so i dont believe it got anything to do with memory speeds or type of cards. have tried most of your suggestions to downgrading to a older versoin of gps but still it freezes up. just about given up with this all togather the only thing i can think of doing is to order a Toshiba bluetoth card on sd card slot or other make to try and see if using compact flash for the maps helps. another thing i have tried is to use mmc cards instead of sd cards. no diffrenece keeps crashing still. the only good thing i found out was the data could be written and read much faster. any other ideas please!!! im tearing my hair out over this i am very much upset that tom tom thenselves havent sorted this out still nearly a year since i have brought this. as on their box they say that its supposed to work with the toshiba e740
