Can a bluetooth enabled Cell Phone be used as a GPS receiver for a Bluetooth enabled PDA?
Certainly not a standard feature on any of them, but perhaps there is a hack for a particular phone or group of phones? |

You can certainly write a hack to redirect the serial stream from the GPS to the BT Serial port.
If it's a WindowsCE phone like the hp hw6500 then you may even be able to do all this without any programming - all you need is GPSGate...
But this is really a bit far fetched. You are much more likely to consume the GPS stream directly on the phone. _________________ Lutz

Which Nokia Series 60's have a GPS receiver built in? Without that how do you expect to get a position location. BS triangulation is nowhere near accurate enough. _________________ Darren Griffin |
