Fortuna Clip-on loses connection

Please help!

I am using AA Navigator with my Dell Axim X5 via a Fortuna Clip-on GPS receiver. In order to convert my X5 to Bluetooth I have installed an Ambicom Bluetooth Wireless CompactFlash Card.

The problem I am having is that, despite everything being installed fine and having a good "3D Fix", once I plan my route and 'go', my PDA gives the first instruction and then the Fortuna disconnects and my PDA gives the message "No Bluetooth serial ports could be found for device Clip-On BT GPS" and everything freezes.

AA reckon it's something my end, I'm sure Ambicom and/or Dell will say it's something wrong the other end so, rather than going backwards and forwards between them all, I just wondered if anyone had had a similar experience or if someone could offer some advice. I have had one occasion where I have managed a successful route...
