Transfer Tm Tm SW & Maps to New High capacity SD Card

I have an HPiPaq rz1710 with Tom Tom bundled software. The SD card has a capacity of 256, I intend to upgrade to a 512 or 1 GB.

How do I transfer the content of the original SD card supplied by Tom Tom to the new Card> I Tried to copy content to th Hard disk for transfer but all files do not get transferred. Is here some sort of block to copying.

No, the standard process is to copy the entire contents of the SD card to your PC and then reverse the process to copy back to the new CD card.

If you are using XP your problems may be because it is not copying hidden files. The easiest method would be to use a card reader as this is much faster.
