Hi all,

A question -

I am currently considering purchasing a smartphone GPS system (TOMTOM) and wondered if the system will work simultaneously with my bluetooth nokia carkit ie will the bluetooth support 2 devices at the same time?

Thanks in advance.
Rotor Head.

I have heard people say that the Orange C500 (and the other phones based on the same design) WILL work with a BT GPS and headset but some other phones will not.

Humm - think I'll have to quiz Orange on it. Major shortcoming otherwise.

Thanks

I have a C500 and can confirm it works with my Sony Ericcsson BT Headset and BT GPS connected simultaneously.

Thanx for that - i will have to investigate upgrading if i go that route - I am a bit of a nokia stick in the mud and have had my finger burnt in the past after swapping to ericssons and motorola's so tend to opt for nokia every time given the choice.

I can definately recommend the C500. Being windows based, it does have it's quirks and it does need restarting now and then. It takes a little bit of getting used to but overall, it's a good phone.

I was a Nokia user for 5 or 6 years but the new phones seem to be more interested in gimmicks than functionality. I haven't used the Nokia Smartphones though.
